Q. How do I assign map symbols to existing mobs for use in the PAM Mapping system?

A. To enable you to move mobs of livestock with the map, we have created map symbols, which you can assign to each mob.

To assign a map symbols to an existing mob, follow these steps:

-> From the Configuration menu, select Livestock Categories & Mobs;
-> From the Outline, select the first mob on the mob list;
-> Click the Tools button and select Change Mob Details or just double-click the mob code;
-> At the bottom of the "Change A Mob" form, click the Symbol/Colour button;
-> Select a symbol to represent the mob;
-> Click the colour button and select a colour for the mob;
-> When complete select the OK button to save your changes.

-> You can use the same symbol for all your mobs, eg if you only have sheep you may just wish to use the sheep symbol. To differentiate between each mob, just select a different colour sheep to represent the different mobs.

-> If you are creating new mobs, you can select a symbol and colour for that mob when you are creating the mob on the "Add A New Mob" form.
