Why aren't all the columns of data in my Comma-Tab Delimited files accessible?

Q. Why aren't all the columns of data in my Comma-Tab Delimited files accessible?

A. When imported, Farmstar will treat CSV files as 'Yield' files if the header lines contains the word 'Yield'. The purpose of this was to enable the many users who had lots of smaller CSV files to import them into one big dataset using the 'Append' button of the Data Manager. The only way that you can load multiple datasets is if they all have the same number of columns for the data.

If this is causing a problem for you, open the file using Notepad or Excel and rename any items on the first row that contain the word 'Yield' .. e.g. "Cotton Yield" could be renamed to "Cotton Yld". Farmstar would not apply any special treatment to the file, and all columns of data would be available once imported.
