Q. PAM Installing a Network Workstation version with the program running from the local machine
A. 1. If PAM is already installed on local/workstation machine you need to delete or rename the existing c:\pam folder (backup first?) and remove the registry entries Local Machine\Software\Fairport, and Local Machine\Software\Opus
2. Install PAM as per a normal network workstation installation. Specifying the mapped/network drive to hold the PAM data (eg I:\PAM), and leave the workstation files in c:\pamclientwork.
3. Open Windows Explorer and copy the I:\PAM folder to the local machine. We recommend you delete any .mdb files in the c:\pam folder.
4. Change the shortcut on the desktop and start menu to point to the c:\pam\pam.exe file rather than the network.
