Frequently Asked Question
What Are Management Groups and What Do They Do?
Last Updated 7 years ago
Managements Groups are able to be saved when entering data via the Add Activity Wizard in PAM.
The reason behind supporting management groups is purely to save keystrokes for the user as far as data input is concerened.
The management group has no effect on the calculations or reporting features in PAM.
ie: You have a group of paddocks:
blk1 blk2 blk3
These paddocks are treated the same for the purposes of planting, chemical sprays and the like...
Instead of clicking on all 3 paddocks every time you enter an action... you are able to simply select the management group and all 3 paddocks are selected automatically.
